WIZARDS AT WORK!
Claire Janisch
Genius Labs Environmental Transformation Wizard
Claire is the co-creator of Genius Lab and plays a key role in developing and presenting Genius Lab ideas, materials & content. Claire is an Environmental Engineer, which in wizard-speak is the ability to engineer your own environment. In muggle terms, Claire has an MSc. Chemical Engineering in the field of Environmental Engineering.
Claire has consulted on projects in factories & mines, homes & offices, conventional, organic & biodynamic farms, cities and wilderness areas - always seeking ways to integrate the learning from one area to another. (There’s much a cow can teach you about genius factory design: Eat green grass – make white milk with zero waste!). That means applying holistic thinking and making connections in many different fields with many different organizations and people in developing genius solutions to seemingly impossible environmental problems.
Claire has a wide range of knowledge & experience in best environmental practices & technologies for factories, cities, homes, offices, hotels, restaurants & farms (the latter 3 for pure the joy of the job). She also has experience in researching & implementing green building techniques & technologies at design & operation level (water & energy efficiency, renewable energy systems, waste reduction, etc.). She has practical experience in permaculture, organic & biodynamic farming. She is a trainer for The Natural Step, South Africa. She is currently studying Biomimicry through the Biomimicry Institute and learning as much as she can about the genius of nature to inspire her own work and to share with the Genius Lab community.
Claire is also a qualified massage therapist and Reiki master. She has begun studies in cranio-sacral therapy and specialised kinesology. She has also been a student of Ramtha’s School of Enlightenment – The Quintessential School of The Mind (www.ramtha.com) since 1999, and draws much of her love of life and learning from her experiences in this school.
Claire has researched & explored a vast array of wonderful knowledge from ancient wisdom to future science and has an extraordinary skill of making connections between it all and ourselves, communicating this simply and clearly and making it accessible to everyone. Her love of life and inspiring hopeful attitude towards the future is expressed wonderfully in the Genius Lab Work&playshop Series and carried further by the wonderful ever-growing Genius Lab community.
Amanda Gifford

Genius Labs Luminous Self Transformation Wizard
Amanda is co-creator of the Genius Lab, and co-director of the Genius Lab participatory style work&playshop series. Otherwise known as Magical Mu , she brings the art of transformation of self through an integration of new ideas, deeper mind, playfulness, imagination, science of art, drama therapy, mysticism, and the experiential application to the participatory style learning laboratory within Genius Lab!
Amanda is one of seven qualified and HPCSA registered Drama Therapists in South Africa, having completed her Masters in Drama Therapy with a Transpersonal Approach at the California Institute of Integral Studies (see www.ciis.edu) in San Francisco in 2003.This institute is a hub of forward thinking individuals from which many great innovators and pioneers in the consciousness and transformation field are born. Amanda wants the Genius Lab to be the same. Amanda learnt from David Read Johnson, the director of the Institute for Developmental Transformations in New York; Judith Glass PhD Clinical Psychologist, Sociodramatist, Psychodramatist; Renee Emunah, PhD Drama Therapy and Self Revelatory Theatre; Stan Groff, innovator of Holotrophic Breathwork; Brian Green, cosmologist, physician;and many other inspiring individuals.
She draws from the research of Dr Bruce Lipton, Lynne Mactaggart and many of the scientists seen in the movie What the Bleep Do We Know?. This is all combined with an ecclectic mix of influences including the work of Otto Scharmer’s, Presencing the Future: Leading from the emerging future; Bert Hellingers’ Family Constellations; and a shamanic and transpersonal view of Drama Therapy. She particularly loves to use the imagination and theatre as a tool for exploring reality. Amanda has also been a student of Ramtha’s School of Enlightenment, the Quintessential School of the Mind (www.ramtha.com) since 1999, and draws much of her inspiration & love of learning from her current level of understanding of the materials taught at this school.
Amanda’s work is an empowering combination of active imagination, art, drama therapy, embodied learning practices, and the science of conscious transformation. Amanda has worked in communities running Drama Therapy workshops in a variety of contexts. She has extended her work into corporates focusing on conflict resolution, communication skills, emotional intelligence, personal mastery and social dreaming workshops. Amanda has specifically designed her courses as a personal transformational process that cultivates creative freedom and the genius of innate knowing. She weaves her magic in seemingly impossible ways.

Neal De Klerk

Genius Lab's Radiant Energy Quantum IT Wizard
Perhaps there is nowhere else in every day reality where quantum mechanics and the real world mesh together so well as they do in computers and neural micro-circuitry. And it's a happy co-incidence to say the least, because Neal happens to be a loyal fanatic to both of these subjects! The role of our brains and consciousness in creating tangible reality from the quantum field is what really computes when it comes to Neal. And amidst a crackling, sparkling experiment or two, when Neal is not talking about the relationship between quantum computers, the brain and Nikola Tesla's Radiant Energy revolution, perhaps you might find him building origami pterodactyls at Kids Lab or simply chilling with other like-minded geniuses that grace the workshops.
A Ramtha student first and foremost, Neal applies his scientific background to a personal spiritual philosophy, a quest to understand himself through the application of focused consciousness (being facilitated in the brain) creating reality from the quantum field upwards. Neal has a varied background in physics and science, being one of those kids that actually DID enjoy science at school and foolishly took it all the way to University, just to realise how little of this magical world is actually understood by the average man on the street. A brief demonstration of a Tesla coil will get most people hopping around excitedly! And it should, because Tesla's Radiant Energy discovery is the door that unlocks antigravity and UFO technology, and all of that exciting potential makes this particular subject a favourite one for Neal. If you get him started you better dig in for a long haul ...
In his normal-every-day-person mode he runs an IT consulting and support company called WithIT Professional IT Services. He is a qualified IT professional (as the name suggests ... :-) and has more than 10 years working experience having started out as a call centre support agent for Microsoft South Africa. He specialises in implementing and designing enterprise level IT technologies for small and medium-sized businesses that want to make the leap to a higher level of computing efficiency. A quantum leap maybe? Perhaps. But once you've experienced it you won't know how you lived without it!

Ineke Buskens
Ineke Buskens graduated as a Cultural Anthropologist in Leiden, the Netherlands. Searching the planet for a culture and a community that enhances and strenghten its people instead of conditioning them into limitations, she has lived and worked in the Netherlands, Ghana, India, Brasil and South Africa. She has found the culture and the community she was looking for with people who are embracing the emerging new paradigm of quantum physics and quantum living. Whilst this paradigm holds us all ultimately responsible for everything in our lives, it also creates the platform for light hearted change "in a twinkling of an eye" and compassoniate forgivenness for self and others. Her search found its moment of peace when she became a student in Ramtha's School of Enlightenment in 1999 and the search for the perfect community changed into the search for the Divine Self.
After having been Head of the Centre for Research Methodology at South Africa’s Human Science Research Council for 5 years, she founded Research For the Future in 1996. She works since as an independent international research and process facilitation consultant. In her research she focuses on emancipatory approaches that envision a sustainable, just and loving world, in her research training on bringing out the genius in every participant, in her facilitation work, on gender awareness and authentic collaboration. Ineke is currently guiding and supervising researchers in Africa and the Middle East who dream of a world where women can take charge of their environment and take responsibility for their creations in all aspects of their lives. She currently is project leader of GRACE: Gender Research in Africa and the Middle East into ICTs (Information Communication Technology) for Empowerment and has just finished editing the first book written by this researcher network: African Women and ICTs: Investigating Technology, Gender and Empowerment, that will be available in the bookshops and on the web in March 2009.
